How The Dreaming Space all started:
Toddlers and mother queens. Sparkle used her magic to create songs and stories that took peoples breath away and then jump for joy, in dance.
while Jimmy entertained guests with his comedic acts and mind bending tricks together they taught each other and continued to grow ...
One day, they received a special request from a young girl who dreamed of becoming a ballerina on point. Sparkle and Jimmy set to work, creating a beautiful space and royal stage for the girl to perform on.
When the night came, the girl stepped onto the stage, nervous but excited. As she began to dance, Sparkle’s magic created a shower of glittering lights that rained down, making the girl feel like she was dancing among the stars.
The audience was entranced, and the girl's dream had finally come true.
From that day on, The Dreaming Space became more than just an wonderous entertainment space - it was a place where dreams came true.
Sparkle and Jimmy continue to spread joy and magic wherever they and The Dreaming Space go,
helping people realise and achieve their dreams and living happily ever after.

Christopher Anthony James
Manager and Trainer of The Dreaming Space Academy
Chris James has a Bachelor of Creative Arts/ Acting and Music Performance, along with a Masters of Teaching and is currently a founding member of the opening of the first Montessori High School in Melbourne. Chris has written, directed, performed and toured plays across the world, starting the journey 17 years ago at the Circus in Canberra.
Chris’s skills include but are not limited too; acting, storytelling, various forms of circus, stilt walking, guitar, magic, balloon modelling, directing and writing.

Claire Ruby James
CEO of The Dreaming Space Academy
Claire Ruby James has been professionally performing for over 18 years, and has developed into an entertainment and events business powerhouse. With the goal of uplifting people and creating spaces for them to shine and be wonder-full. Bring all age groups and cultures together to learn from and appreciate one another.
Claire’s skills include but are not limited too: Many styles of dance, acting, African drumming, storytelling, various forms of circus, stilt walking, face painting balloon modelling, magic, directing and writing. Yet her favorite way to touch the hearts of many is through her soulful voice.

Weekly Workshops and Training
Training all aged students in mixed circus skills from beginners through to advanced. Skills include, gymnastics, juggling, acrobatics and aerials.
We are weekly training students in a variety of dance forms from ballet, jazz, Tap, hip-hop and contemporary.
Learn the basics to the history of circus, learn to juggle, spin a diablo, poi, staff, rolling and much more!
